Nottinghamshire Bobbin Lace Society – Term Time Only

Description: Types of lace taught include Torchon, Tape Lace, Bucks Point, Bedfordshire, Honiton and some continental styles of bobbin lace.
Skill level: Open to all abilities and levels from 5 yrs of age. 
Cost: The classes are for lace makers with varying levels of experience, including beginners.

Description: Social gathering of lace makers at all levels, meeting to enjoy lacemaking and each other's company. No paid tuition available, but often a tutor is there who is happy to advise if asked.

Open Wings

A Life and Work Skills Centre for adults with learning disabilities. Programmes are individually designed to meet each learner's needs. Adults can work towards qualifications but this is a personal choice. Tutor learning ratio is very small and the environment is safe and friendly. We aim to open up choices, possibilities and opportunities for adults with learning disabilities.
Cost:- An individual assessment will be made on the cost
and this is funded either through a Direct Payment or self funded.
